Practical Magic Craft Night
We’re brewing up an unforgettable evening of (witch) craft, complete with candle painting, spell jars, and optional Midnight Margs!
Space is limited to an intimate group of just 15 people per event.
Join us for enchanting evening of (witch) craft to celebrate 28-years since the Practical Magic release, and the sequel coming to cinemas this September!
Choose from two dates and two wonderfully historic venues...
Thursday 24th September at The Bull in Ditchling. This pub was built in the early 1600s as an inn and it's one of the oldest standing buildings in the village.
Wednesday 30th September at The Witch Inn in Lindfield, Haywards Heath. This perfectly named venue was built as a pub in the 18th century serving locals, commuters and travellers.
Our venues
Every venue has food and drinks available, so no going thirsty or hungry.
What to expect
- Witchy Candle Painting 🕯️ I’ll guide you through an introduction to candle painting, sharing techniques and design ideas to help you create your own witchy masterpiece to take home
- Make a Mini Spell Jar 🌿 Bottle up your intentions! I'll provide the supplies for you to make your own mini spell jar
- Midnight Margs 🍸 The bar will be serving up Margaritas for you to purchase while we craft (not included in the ticket)
- Meet Kindred Spirits 🔮 A fun evening meeting fellow Practical Magic fans. It’s all about great company, creativity and soaking up at that magic

- Candle painting materials - two tapered candle sticks, paint and ribbon to finish
- Spell jar materials - mini jar, dried herbs and petals
